Mr. Mauren is co-founder and executive director of the Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty , an international educational and public policy organization based in Michigan.
Jo Ann Skousen: Mark Skousen attributes much of his success in life to his partnership with his wife, Jo Ann, whom he married in 1973. Currently associate editor of Forecasts & Strategies, she co-authored of several of his investment books, managed their home-based publishing business for several years, and is associate producer of FreedomFest. She is also the family travel manager, having decided three times that they should take advantage of sudden opportunities to move abroad: first to the Bahamas, then to London, and most recently to New York, all with less than a month’s notice.
Mark Skousen, Ph. D., Editor of Forecasts & Strategies, is a nationally known investment expert, economist, university professor, and author of more than 20 books. He recently was named one of the 20 most influential living economists. He earned his Ph. D. in monetary economics at George Washington University in 1977. He currently holds the Benjamin Franklin Chair of Management at Grantham University. He has taught economics and finance at Columbia Business School, Columbia University, Barnard College, Mercy College and Rollins College. He also has been a consultant to IBM, Hutchinson Technology and other Fortune 500 companies.
