Unsurprisingly, research confirms what teachers already know from daily experience- students are highly visual learners and more easily engaged with visual information. In fact, many studies cite that over 65% of us prefer visual learning. However, the benefits of developing a visually engaged classroom go beyond providing a purely preferential experience for students.
Participants will learn about the benefits of visual thinking and graphic facilitation in the classroom, see how these strategies can be utilized, and begin to develop a personal practice.
