The California Employer Advisory Council (CEAC) is your connection to employment and workforce development information. The CEAC has been in partnership with the State of California Employment Development Department (EDD) since 1980.  As the non-profit, statewide umbrella organization for approximately 48 local Employer Advisory Councils (EACs), Membership benefits include"

 

  • Provides low-cost, timely seminars on topics such as employment law, workforce development, and human resource practices
  • Works with EDD to promote regulations, policies, and procedures that are business friendly
  • Provides links between employers, EACs, and the EDD at the local and state level
  • Notifies employers about pending legislation that may impact them
  • Provides employer representation on state-level panels boards, and advisory groups. 
  • Access to the "Management Hotline" staffed by a Labor Law Attorney
  • Access to the "Conflict Resolution Help Line" to provide Team Conflict Resolution for Management
  • HRCI and SHRM Recertification Credits

 

Who should join?  Employers from businesses of every size, especially business owners, corporate managers, human resource managers, office managers, CEOs, CFOs, and Treasurers. 

 

We are currently collecting membership fees for 2020. Our membership covers the calendar year, through Dec 2020.  Cost is $45 per year.
