Grand Tour of the Bone Room Natural Curiosities and Art
Saturday, March 20, 2010 from 10:00 PM to 6:00 PM (PDT)
Join us at the Bone Room Saturday for a game we like to call "Stump the Bone Room"!
Do you have a strange skull you can't quite ID? A fossil you suspect is fantastic? A spider of mysterious origin? Bring us your odd, unusual, and peculiar finds (they'll fit right in), and we'll do our best to tell you what you have. Ron Cauble, owner and resident Silverback, will be on hand along with the rest of The Bone Room's highly overqualified staff to help solve the mysteries of the universe- or at least of that shoe box under your kid's bed.
Ron will also be giving Bone Room tours, and showing off The Bone Room Presents gallery, where wildlife art by Hans Peeters (Owls of California and the West) will be on display. Explore the wonders of Berkeley's venerable natural history store with the man who knows it best. Hear behind-the scenes stories and get a chance to ask all those questions we know you have.
DETAILS AND DIRECTIONS
The Bone Room is located at 1569 Solano Avenue.
Stump the Bone Room and tours available 10am - 6pm.
