Providers are currently faced with the challenge of deciphering new imaging technology and its impact on their diagnostic capabilities. By ordering correct exams, providers will ensure the quickest diagnosis for patients, faster healing times, and fewer repeated exams. In this event our Adena radiologists will cover several hot topics in imaging and provide guidance on the most appropriate imaging exams to order.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND? ALL PHYSICIANS, PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS, NURSE PRACTITIONERS, NURSES AND GRADUATE CLINICAL STUDENTS
PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BE ABLE TO:
· ORDER THE BEST IMAGING TEST FOR A GIVEN CLINICAL SCENARIO.
· DETERMINE WHEN A CONTRAST AGENT IS CONTRAINDICATED BASED ON THE PATIENT’S CLINICAL HISTORY.
· ORDER THE IMAGING STUDY THAT MOST APPROPRIATELY ANSWERS THE CLINCIAL QUESTION WHILE AVOIDING USING IONIZING RADIATION.
