In this workshop, we’ll examine some of these seemingly impossible poses, demystifying them by breaking down exactly what needs to be done with each part of the body. We’ll discover how the yogic principles of sthira and sukha, often translated as steadiness and ease, can combine to make these strong, effortful poses a little more graceful. Patience is a large part of arm balancing, so though you may not leave this class doing textbook examples of each pose, you will have the foundational tools you need for skillful practice and eventual mastery of each one.
