Please join us to learn why volunteers are so crucial to the success of a foster care placement. You will discover the different levels of volunteering that are possible: such as making meals, babysitting and even birth family mentoring. You will receive information about discipline and confidentiality policies that will help you better serve children and the families who care for them. You will learn about the unique challenges that foster families face and how you can come alongside them to help them succeed. We will also be sharing about the unique opprtunity to serve with already existing Gwinnett County foster homes.
We will have plenty of time to answer all of your questions.
Childcare will be provided.

When & Where
Live The Promise
Live The Promise, led by Promise686, depends on a coalition of churches working together. Promise686 mobilizes and serves churches and families to meet the needs of orphans and foster children. Specifically, Promise686 is a ministry that assists families and churches who have a heart for caring for orphans and foster children, by providing financial assistance, community support, and education. Promise686 believes the best way to care for these children is through the family. In short, if “God sets the lonely into families” (Psalm 68:6), then so will we. We accomplish this in the foster care realm through our ongoing campaign –
Live The Promise.
