Dear Graduate and Professional Students,
The musical "The Lion King" makes its return to Pittsburgh after being away for 5 years! GPSG has bought the highly sought after tickets so that you will be able to attend. If you were to buy tickets for the show, they would cost you AT LEAST $75 per ticket. This GPSG event is on Friday, September 20th at 8 pm at the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets will go on sale August 27th at noon. The first 20 tickets will be only $20 so be sure to bookmark the eventbrite page (gpsglionking.eventbrite.com) for your chance at a reduced price!

WHAT: GPSG Presents "The Lion King"
WHO: All Pitt graduate and professional students; Each student may purchase a maximum of two tickets (for themselves and for a non-Pitt guest)
WHERE: The Benedum Center for the Performing Arts (803 Liberty Ave)
WHEN: Friday, September 20, show begins at 8:00 pm (please show up by 7:30 pm)
COST: $25 per ticket, maximum of 2 tickets per Pitt graduate student
TICKET PICK-UP: Students will be able to choose a 2 hour window between September 9th and 13th to pick up their ticket(s). Should plans change and the student cannot make their pick up window, the student must notify GPSG at least 24 hours before the window or their tickets will be given to students on the waitlist.
What do I have to bring to this event?
Your tickets that indicate your seat in the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts. Eventbrite tickets will not be accepted at the Benedum Center and are only a temporary hold for specific tickets to the show. Please pick up your tickets at the assigned time or your tickets will be given away to waitlisted students.
What if I am no longer available to pick up my tickets?
Email email@example.com at least 24 hours before your original pick up window. If you do not notify GPSG, your ticket(s) will be given away.
I have signed up for the wait list and have received a ticket. Is that one ticket or two tickets?
Because of the scarcity of tickets once the wait list is enabled, students on the wait list can only receive one ticket (not two).
What if I cannot make it to the event after I have bought my tickets?
Email firstname.lastname@example.org. If you contact us more than 48 hours before the event (September 18th at 7:30 pm), we will refund your money with no cancellation charge and open those tickets up for purchase for waitlisted students.
I have bought my ticket and a signed up for a pickup time on Eventbrite. What do I do now? I don't see where I go.
You will be emailed the location of your pickup and extra details. Now that you have reserved a seat on Eventbrite, you will need to pick up your actual ticket (the one that says your seat number) during the week of September 9th - 13th. If you have not received an email within two days of buying your ticket, please contact email@example.com.
