The Boys & Girls Club of Harrisburg and Discovery Education are pleased to invite administrators, curriculum specialists, teachers, business leaders and after-school program coordinators to join us for an important discussion @theTable with Dr. Cindy Moss, one of the top "100 Women in STEM."
This session presents data about why districts and communities need a STEM education plan that includes local STEM stakeholders, the best practices involved in STEM and the impact this makes on real students in real districts.
Dinner will be served from 5:30-6:00 pm with our @theTable discussion to follow.
In addition to Dr. Moss' thought-provoking presentation, all attendees will be given access to the Discovery Education STEM Camp - a series of three free STEM curricula that provide thematic learning opportunities maximizing a rich combination of hands on labs, engineering challenges, digital investigations and an intentional focus on STEM careers.
