Governor's Conference on North Dakota History
People living in this part of the continent have been creative and industrious for more than 10,000 years.
Beginning with the introduction of corn about 1200 AD, agriculture became a centerpiece of our way of life. In the two-day conference we will highlight and recognize some of the creative ideas that relate to the agriculture industry and/or have changed the ways farmers and ranchers approach their work.
The topic for this year's Governor's Conference was chosen to build interest and excitement related to the expansion of the North Dakota Heritage Center and the new installation of exhibits.
