Google+ for Philly-Area Food Bloggers
Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM (EDT)
Our food blogger community is active on Twitter and other social networks, but Google+ is new territory for many of us. Google has a local team helping Philly organizations learn how to use Google+ features such as Circles, Hangouts on Air, and the +1 Button to promote their blog content - and they've offered to help us!
All levels of knowledge are welcome to this educational session. The team will also answer questions and help attendees create their own Google+ page if you wish. Feel free to bring your laptop. Light appetizers, soda, beer, etc. will be provided.
We will also be given an introduction to Google+ Local, the newest feature with integrated restaurant listings and Zagat reviews. You can now find and share relevant restaurant info such as directions, reviews, and pictures right in Google+.
Space is limited so we can only fit the first 25 people to sign up. We'll keep a waiting list in case anyone cancels.
We attended a Google+ session recently and it was excellent. Hope to see you there!
