Julia Propp Marc Baizman
Julia Propp is the Assistant Director of Patron Engagement for Emerson College’s new arts initiative and city partnership, ArtsEmerson: The World On Stage. At ArtsEmerson, Julia oversees audience development and fundraising initiatives for their international theatre, music and film programming. Prior to joining ArtsEmerson, she served as a Development Officer at the American Repertory Theater where she coordinated special events and spear-headed cultivation efforts for young professionals and emerging donors. She’s been a proud Board member of YNPN Boston since 2009. She has her MA in Theatre Education from Emerson College and is also licensed practitioner in Meyers-Briggs.
Marc Baizman is the owner of My Computer Guy, a consulting firm that works exclusively with nonprofits helping them with Google Apps, Salesforce.com, and other cloud-based technologies. Marc has been involved with nonprofits and technology for the past ten years. He was the co-chair for the Young Nonprofit Professional's Network - Boston chapter from 2010 - 2011 and the founder fo the Boston Nonprofit Salesforce User Group. Up until the end of 2009, Marc was Technology Director at Root Cause, a nonprofit in Cambridge, MA that helps social innovators and educates social impact investors. As the first and only technology staff person, he was responsible for all things tech, from debugging network cables to disaster recovery planning.
