We can't wait to see the hometown crew! We’re very excited to announce that in honor of Mom Stimac (who is bravely battling Parkinson’s) that we’ll be donating part of the proceeds from the show to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research in her name.”
GOODBYE ELLIOTT creates a tidal wave from Hawaii to Hollywood with tweens and teens every time they return from the US Mainland to the Hawaiian Islands. The band’s been rocking Hawaii for years, enjoying sold-out shows and top album sales in local music shops and retail stores across the Big Island. Not since The Beach Boys kicked the sand and surf over America’s airwaves, have a group of guys like GOODBYE ELLIOTT who are also family-based had such an impact on a rock ‘n roll band. In fact, the Stimac family owns “Kona Inn Children’s Wear” located at the Kona Inn Shopping Village in downtown Kailua Kona.
GOODBYE ELLIOTT is as unique as their Ohana band members: brothers Jonny Stimac (lead singer songwriter, guitar, ukulele) and the youngest of the seven Stimac kids, Chris Stimac (lead guitar, ukulele, steel drums and vocals). The hazel eyed, light brown-haired front men are joined at the hip by life-long friends who literally grew up together on the Kona coast: Paul Gubser (Bass), Ryan Johnston (keyboards, ukulele, songwriter) and Jordan Lawrence (Drums); the trio of musicians provide back-up vocals in addition to sonic showmanship. The GOODBYE ELLIOTT 2011 CD is produced by elder brother, Danny Stimac and Jonny Stimac while niece, Mischa Stimac, will be recording the female back-up vocals. The CD will also feature violin virtuoso Calyssa Davidson. Award-winning producer Al Clay known for his work with PINK and The Pixies is mixing and mastering the new, full-length GOODBYE ELLIOTT 2011 CD in Pacific Palisades, CA. He is also known for: Pirates of the Caribbean, Madagascar, and Batman Begins.
GOODBYE ELLIOTT is celebrating their fifth year as a band in 2010. They have toured the US Mainland now for over two years. GOODBYE ELLIOTT has played more than 100 venues, headlining sold-out LA shows at The Knitting Factory, The ROXY, The Key Club and The House of Blues. Music critics alike are beginning to take note of GOODBYE ELLIOTT and their latest achievements. The band’s music is featured on Sirius Radio, AOL Music, Direct TV, iTunes, and rock radio stations across North America & Europe.
