With the passage of transportation funding legislation in Harrisburg last fall, southeastern Pennsylvania is slated to receive an additional $10 billion in state funds by 2040. This much-needed investment will help address long-deferred maintenance needs and upgrade deteriorating bridges, roads, and public transit. Achieving a World Class vision for our region’s transportation systems, however, is going to require leveraging these and other resources.
Join the Economy League and the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission at this World Class Council Forum to learn how new state transportation funding will be deployed in southeastern Pennsylvania and explore innovative financing and funding approaches that our region can pursue to ensure that we’re making the most of new transportation dollars.
