The Dress for Success Annual Luncheon: Going Places, Going Strong is a gathering to celebrate the success of our women, and the power of our mission. Our biggest and most anticipated event of the year, we’ll be highlighting the principles at the core of Dress for Success, the impact of stylish presentation and the power of networking to develop your career.
Our speakers, Tamika Maria Price and Jen Tadin embody Dress for Success’ ideal of “going places, going strong.”
Tamika Maria Price is an award-winning wardrobe coach, speaker and the author of “Standout Style: The Shopping & Style Guide for Real Women”. Tamika is the founder of A-line Style Services, the Chicago-based wardrobe styling and personal shopping consultancy that has provided clients with polished, pulled together looks to compliment their budgets, bodies and lifestyles since 2008. Tamika has been seen working her style magic on the nationally syndicated daytime TV show, “The Rachael Ray Show”, NBC 5 News, multiple appearances on WCIU’s “You & Me This Morning”, and named one of the “Top 40 Under 40 Game Changers” by Black Enterprise Magazine. Tamika attributes her success to always giving back to the community and being an inspiration to women through her personal story and professional experiences.
Jen Tadin is the co-founder of the Chicago chapter of ChickChat, a women’s networking group that hosts diverse networking soirees giving women the opportunity to enjoy a fun night out, connect with savvy like-minded women and learn about topics, issues and non-profits that are changing our world for the better. Jen graduated from Saint Xavier University with a B.A. in Business Administration and completed her Masters degree in Communications at Governors State University. Residing in Lincoln Park, she is a sales manager for The Hartford, a Fortune 500 insurance company, where she manages Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota in the company’s Small Business Division. One of Jen's greatest passions is supporting women in business whether it is via mentoring fellow female professionals, working as an advocate to close the gender wage gap, or connecting women through her work as an Ultra Chick at ChickChat Chicago.
