TEAM HAULYP SUPPORTS
ARBOR DAY

Saturday, January 26, 2013

7:30 am- 11:30 am

Meeting Location: Memorial Park, 7700 Memorial Park Drive, Houston, TX 77007

Mission: HAULYP will support the City of Houston along with local organizations to protect our parks on Arbor Day. The focus of Arbor Day is to begin a multi-year effort called Re-Plant Houston dedicated to reforesting Houston parks devastated by the drought of 2011. Our city parks enhance the quality of urban life throughout the city.

Our role:  HAULYP volunteers will serve the Memorial Park area. This year shovels and gloves will not be provided by the city.  If you have access to those items, please bring them with you.  Please arrive early so that you can sign the waiver.

Please do not hesitate to contact Kanetra Washington or Carrie Spann at communityoutreach@haulyp.org with any questions concerning the service project. For more information about Arbor Day, visit http://www.houstontx.gov/parks/arborday.html.
