Watch Layang Emas (Dance of the Swallows) by Jennifer Lee & Emily Sun. This is a beautiful court dance that is said to have derived its movements from that of the swallow (layang-layang). A slightly more seductive and flirtatious dance, that has clear shoulder and hip movements. The dance also uses a long scarf that is tied to a belt at the waist. This scarf is held very lightly by the thumb and forefinger and raised to the sides to the dancer giving the appearance of wings. This dance is always performed by women only.
Ticket includes dinner, tax, tips, speaker and entertainment. BYOB as the restaurant does not have a liquor license. Free parking will be available on site. Portion of proceeds benefit the nonprofit, Go Eat Give, that supports community development efforts internationally.
