G.O. Club - Earth Stewards

Pack your picnic supper and join a naturalist for an evening of outdoor adventure. Being an earth steward is easy. Kids & grown-ups will learn simple ways to connect with the natural world to promote stewardship of our home...EARTH!
This program has a two-mile hike. Please wear hiking shoes/boots, dress in layers, and bring binoculars.
Registration for this program opens at 9:00 AM one month before the date of the program. If you are registering during this time, but space is no longer available, please call Lookout Mountain Nature Center at 720-497-7600 to be placed on a waiting list.

Jefferson County Open Space was founded as a land conservation organization in 1972. Its mission is to preserve land, protect park and natural resources, as well as provide healthy nature-based experiences. Funded with a one-half of one percent sales tax, the agency contributes to city and recreation district projects and manages 44,613 acres, 28 regional parks, and 230 miles of trails in Jefferson County, Colorado.
