Mr. Joseph Pieroni, GSAS '71, recently retired, past President and CEO of Japanese pharmaceutical company Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. He has 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry having worked for firms such as Sandoz, Lederle, Merck and Parke-Davis and Daiichi Sankyo. Mr. Pieroni holds a BS degree in chemistry from St. Peter’s College, MS degree in organic chemistry from Fordham University and an MBA from Rutgers University. He currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Fordham Graduate School of Arts and Science, the Advisory Board for The Blanche and Irwin Lerner Center for the Study of Pharmaceutical Issues at Rutgers Business School and the Host Committee for the St. Peter’s College Alumni in Healthcare Network.
