Join us on an adventure to transform the world as we know it!
Students in this class will have access to one of the most disruptive technologies of our time, 3D Printers at the Makerbot store. In a small group setting of 5 students, under the guidance of a fabulous teacher, your children will explore the engineering design process to create innovative solutions to a real life, major global issue - a lack of electricity. They will learn to wire a circuit, how to use design software, understand the engineering design process and learn the importance of prototyping. They will hear from and collaborate with their global partners in Uganda, giving the work they do even more context and applicability.
This is cutting edge technology, innovation and creativity at it's best!
