GLOBAL IMMIGRATION - HOTSPOTS AND CHALLENGES
You are invited to the September 2013 program of the Houston International HR Roundtable. This will be an timely and informative program on an issue that affects everyone with a mobile workforce.
Our panel of global experts from Berry Appleman & Leiden, LLP. will discuss current trends and immigration processes in the UK, Brazil, Nigeria and China. They will provide an overview of relevant global migration news and what actions companies should take in response to changes in immigration regulations.
Specifically, the panel will address the new China Exit-Entry Administration Law that went into effect on Sept. 1, introducing new visa types and document requirements, and provide recent reforms from the Federal Government of Nigeria, which includes the new investor visa and visa on arrival. In addition, BAL will discuss recent updates to Brazil immigration law through Normative Resolutions 98-100, which has the effect of making it easier for companies and employees to do business in Brazil. Finally, BAL will discuss common immigration trends in the United Kingdom.
Bring your questions and bring your colleagues! This is a presentation not to be missed.
