Event Details

Global Accessibility Awareness Day is organized by Directorate of Information Technology, Government of Maharashtra and BarrierBreak Technologies. We are also pleased to have Nasscom & Nasscom Foundation as supporting partners.

As a worldwide initiative to build awareness on Accessibility, May 9th has been decided to be Global Accessibility Awareness Day and we are happy to be celebrating it in India also!

As you know that the knowledge of Accessibility is very limited in India, this initiative would help to create awareness about the needs of persons with disabilities, identify what needs to be done and also highlight some things that have been done already in the state of Maharashtra.

The day will be divided into two sessions, the morning session to have panel discussions and the afternoon session to be a developers training on Accessibility. The session will be FREE but with prior registration.
