Bio of Mr. Massih:
Sam Massih is a semiconductor veteran with 18 years of experience in establishing, growing, and managing technology based businesses. His entire career has centered around defining and launching new semiconductor product lines targeted at consumer markets such as Mobile, Tablet, STB, LCD TV, DSC,and now Wearables Technology. His past adventures has taken him to Maxim,NXP (formally Philips Semiconductor), and Semtech where he's been responsible for establishing and growing Analog Video, LED, and Touch Interface businesses respectively. His most recent challenge has been at InvenSense where he is focusing on enabling the next generation of wearable products in the Fitness, Mobile, and Smart Bands markets. These markets will require more sensor data to drive better lifestyle decision, provide day-to-day utility, and generate more valuable cloud data for the cloud services. Mr. Massih holds a MBA from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, a MSEE from University of New York, and a BSEE from Pennsylvania State University.

Julien worked in the mobile space for 10 years. Currently advising several wearable computing startups such as Plantiga, and GERO, he previously worked for Samsung where he shaped the strategy and builtcontextual experiences as well as services such as Samsung Hub, an iTunes type service and Samsung WatchON, a video aggregation engine, two services currently available on the Samsung Galaxy S4. He is the founder of Gizworld(www.gizworld.com), a global wearable computing consultancy. He is also the founder of the Smart World alliance (www.smartworldalliance.com), a global alliance focusing on bringing together the key players in the wearable computing and IoT space. Julien is also the CEO of Henosis (www.henosis.co), a wearable computing startup bringing the best of wearables to the sports teams (NBA, NHL, MLS..) by building unique sports experiences. Julien is also the co-founder of Wearable Tech LA (www.wearabletechla.com) andWearable Tech Israel (www.wearabletechisrael.com), Israel's first major wearable computing event. Julien has been quoted in leading publications such as the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Dow Jones, and BusinessWeek.

Bio of Rachel Hinman:
Rachel Hinman is a researcher, designer and a recognized thought leader in the mobile user experience field and author of The Mobile Frontier: A Guide for Designing Mobile Experiences. Her current passion is exploring the intersection of wearable technology and fashion and creating technology platforms that enable fashion designers to be the developers of futurewearable technology experiences. Rachel received a Masters Degree in Design.
