Sign up to serve a meal, attend the Sunday celebration, or do both.
As a volunteer for our daily free meals program, you’ll give your time to feed our city’s poor, homeless, and hungry in an atmosphere of respect, acceptance, and love. Learn more
Sunday celebrations offer a joyous and secular experience of community, music, preaching, and spirituality, reflective of the richly diverse world in which we live. Learn more
No matter which option you choose, you’ll wrap up the morning with a delicious brunch alongside members of the GLIDE Legacy Committee and Board of Trustees.
Choose from one of three options:
- Serve and celebrate: Sign up to serve breakfast from 7AM - 9AM and then attend the Sunday Celebration at 9AM. Join us for brunch directly following the Celebration.
- Serve: Sign up to prepare bag dinners from 9AM - 11AM. Join us for brunch directly following your volunteer shift.
- Celebrate: Attend the Sunday Celebration at 9AM. Join us for brunch directly following the Celebration.

Can I register for more than one experience?
Since the times for the three opportunities overlap, participation is limited to one registration per person.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

How should I dress?
Meals program volunteers should wear closed-toed shoes and shirts with sleeves (T-shirts are good, just no tank-tops) when volunteering.
How do I check in for the event?
Meals program volunteers should enter through the Ellis Street entrance and check in at the front desk upon arrival.
Celebration attendees should enter through the Sanctuary entrance on Taylor Street. We'll have a section of seats reserved for the event.

The GLIDE Legacy Committee is a radically inclusive team comprised of social entrepreneurs under 40 who strive to engage, inspire and educate new audiences of young professionals within the San Francisco Bay Area through GLIDE’s mission of unconditional love, compassion and social justice to broaden and deepen community involvement with the organization.
