Supporting School Reconstruction:
More than 80% of the schools in Haiti failed in the wake of the earthquake according to post-disaster assessments. Nearly all failures were due to structural deficiencies that could have been prevented. Recognizing that school reconstruction is a key factor in speeding the reconstruction process, Architecture for Humanity will provide design services and construction funding to support the design and construction of both transitional and permanent school facilities. Check out http://architectureforhumanity.org/ to read more about Architecture for Humanity.
Come support this effort and have fun while helping others! See you there.
