Event Details

For the first time ever, Girls in Tech Los Angeles and Girls in Tech USC will be hosting a joint event at the USC campus. Mingle with like-minded students and professionals from all different industries and come to learn more what each organization offers for its members.

For our fireside chat, the founders of Nix Hydra, a female-founded mobile gaming company, will be coming to talk about their experiences as founders as well as what it's like being mobile game developers in Los Angeles.

Agenda

6:00 - 6:30 p.m.: Mixer, chatting with students
6:30 - 6:45 p.m.: Introduction, welcome
6:45 - 7:15 p.m.: Fireside chat with Nix Hydra
7:15 - 8:00 p.m.: Networking, Wrap-up

Suggested Parking

Verrmont Street Parking Plaza (PSA)
Enter at the Vermont Avenue Entrance at 36th Place (#6)

Open Monday - Friday, 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. From this entrance, drive down McClintock. The parking plaza is on the southwest corner of McClintock and Downey Way. Parking on campus is $10. Please email us at girlsintechusc@gmail.com no later than Wednesday, August 27 if you want to request free parking. We cannot accommodate everyone, but we will try and do what we can.

Getting from Parking to USC Annenberg

Exit the northeast corner of the parking plaza. Take McClintock Avenue heading north. Take a right on Childs Way. Walk past Cromwell Track Field on the left. Turn left on Watt Way.
