Event Details

Join  Girls Who Code for their Inaugrual Gala at the New York Stock Exchange on October 22, 2012.

Support these young women who are New York City's future entrepreneurs and engineers as they unveil the apps built during the Girls Who Code program.  The evening begins with the Social Investor Presentation where the Girls take over the NYSE Boardroom to pitch their creative technology and ability to change the future.  The pitches are followed by a networking reception and demos on the NYSE Trading Floor.

Launched in Spring 2012, Girls Who Code is a national nonprofit organization working to close the gender gap in the technology and engineering sectors.With backing from Twitter, Google, GE and eBay, Girls Who Code programs work to educate, inspire, and equip underserved high school girls with the skills and resources to pursue careers in engineering and technology.
