Running Buddy Registrations
A running buddy is someone at least 18 years of age who runs with one of the Girls on the Run participants to help encourage her through the 5K. If a GOTR participant has asked you to be her running buddy, please provide her name (and school, if known) when you register. If you do not already have a running buddy, we'll put you on a waiting list and assign you to your buddy on race day, and you must consent to a background check.

When & Where
Girls on the Run of Southwest Missouri
Girls on the Run combines training for a 5K (3.1 miles) running race with healthy living education. Our programs instill self-esteem and strong values through health education, life skills development, mentoring relationships, and physical training, all of which are accomplished through an active collaboration with girls and their parents, schools, volunteers, staff, and the community.
Girls on the Run of Southwest Missouri is an affiliate council of Girls on the Run International, which has a network of 200+ locations across the United States and Canada Girls on the Run® is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.
We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
