On March 7th, 12 women from 12 different countries featuring 12 grassroots organizations working towards women empowerment will be collaborating and hosting a Girl Rising screening during a back-to-back 12 hours.
The Pan American Development Foundation has been working in Haiti for 30 years. From the embargo to the earthquake, PADF has worked proudly with the Haitian people to repair, revitalize, and restore lives and livelihoods. Often the only option available, PADF has worked to implement impactful programs and projects that address immediate emergency needs while at the same time strengthening institutional supports for a durable and sustainable future.

Nadia Cherrouk, Country Director, Haiti PADF
Ms. Cherrouk is a senior international financial and program management professional with over 20-year experience and leadership in the international development field.
She holds a masters and bachelors in Business Administration, with a specialization in the not-for-profit sector, organizational strategic management, grant management, including federally funded grants, and multilateral funding. She currently serves as country director for the Pan American Development Foundations (PADF) in Haiti, where she oversees all in-country operations and is PADF’s official representative in country. She also serves as the Chief of Party of the USAID Leveraging Effective Application of Direct Investment (LEAD) program, a small and medium enterprise development project. Ms. Cherrouk is fluent in French, English and Arabic.
