Gingerbread Contest/ Craft producers- Syracuse Holiday Arts and Crafts Spectacular

Syracuse Habitat for Humanity Youth United announces it second annual gingerbread Houses for Habitat Homes Contest. Individuals, groups or families are invited to build a gingerbread house which will then be auctioned off at a silent auction on Sunday, December 4th at 1:00 PM at the HOLIDAY ARTS and CRAFTS SPECTACULAR at the New York State Fairgrounds Horticulture Building. The houses will be on display from Friday, December 2rd through Sunday December 4th at the craft show and show attendees will vote for their favorite Gingerbread house. The top three houses recieve awards. Gingerbread House Contestants are asked to have their houser sponsored by raising a minimum of $100 as part of their entry. All money raised will be used by Youth United to help fund a Syracuse Habitat Home. Syrause Habitat for Humanity Youth United encourages schools, youth and communitity groups and families to put together a team to build a gingerbread house. As long as one of those members on the team is between the ages of 5 and 25 years old, the team is eligible to compete. Craftproducers has tickets to the event available here online or at all local wegmans stores. HALF of all ticket sales will go to Syracuse Habitat for Humanity. There will also be a silent auction that includes with items from all the crafters at the show, that money will support Syracuse Habitat for Humanity Youth United.
