GIGTANK Presents: Ross Mason on Innovation, Healthcare and Chattanooga
Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM (EDT)
“Ross Mason on Innovation, Healthcare and Chattanooga” is an opportunity to hear the story of an inspirational innovator and entrepreneur. This GIGTANK speaker event brings together those interested in entrepreneurship, war veterans and healthcare innovation, as well as those who want to hear the incredible story of the speaker.
Ross Mason, founder of the Healthcare Institute for Neuro-Recovery and Innovation (HINRI), is working closely to reinvent the healthcare industry and help assimilate war veterans to civilian life with programs like Warrior 2 Citizen. This event in particular will focus on recognizing and raising funds for the UTC veteran entrepreneurship program.
Mason’s commitment to healthcare innovation has been further inspired by a more personal, life-changing event: due to a biking accident in 2007, he was paralyzed from the collarbone down. Prior to his accident, Mason pursued a broad range of outdoor sports and active hobbies; that energy is now applied to identifying breakthrough healthcare solutions and improving the lives of others.
