Event Details

Celebrate another successful Biennale with Giant Robot, many of the artists from the exhibit, and the JANM YPN on Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 6-10pm. We will be in the Main Hall of the museum where we'll gather to recognize the artists and celebrate with some special guests from the Giant Robot family including a performance by White Dove One member Jack Long from GR Biennale 1.

grb3opening

Experience the art again or for the first time with us before it closes on January 20th. Giant Robot Biennale 3 has been the third installment of a partnership between JANM and Eric Nakamura of Giant Robot and has furthered the museum’s mission to expand beyond the core Asian American audience with a mix of paintings, sculptures, ink drawings and customized toys for anyone interested in pop culture and art. The exhibit features over 160 pieces from eight artists from the Giant Robot family and a collection within the show called Project Remix that features vinyl toy figures customized by more than 80 artists from seven countries in conjunction with David Horvath of Ugly Doll.
