You're invited to the best costume party of the year! Dress as your favorite dead (or living) celebrity or in other spooky costume/cocktail attire and join us for a benefit for Goodwill's mission programs and services.  Music by Luke Winslow-King, Mia Borders, Stooges Brass Band with Big Chief Monk Boudreaux.

Gooodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana, Inc.

Our Mission.  Since 1943, Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana's mission has been to Change Lives Through the Power of Work by offering individuals with disabilities and disadvantages, as well as businesses, education, training, work experience and job placement services.    

Who We Serve.  Goodwill serves individuals with barriers such as visual impairment, hearing impairment, physical disabilities, neurological disabilities, learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, unemployed, underemployed or dislocated workers, homeless individuals, ex-offenders, older workers, people transferring from welfare to work, at-risk youth and veterans who are homeless or have a disability. 

Services Provided.  Case management, tutoring, computer skills instruction, job readiness, job training, job coaching, supported employment, youth mentoring, ex-offender re-entry employment and training services.

Training & Outreach Programs. Goodwill offers skill training in broadband technology, computer literacy, culinary arts, food and lodging industry, work readiness, janitorial, landscaping and retail.  Assessments and Community Based placement services to people with disabilities.  Outreach program for homeless individuals and women and families living in transitional housing.  An reintegration program for recently released ex-offenders with training in high demand areas. Youth Opportunity and Mentorship Program.
