Event Details

Fellow GGD PHL member and lady geek, Dawn Fallik, is rescheduling the canceled Winter Holiday Cookie swap and organizing the first ever Girl Geek Dinner February "Holiday" Cookie Swap! If you are interested in participating, please see details from Dawn below.

Hi all -

It was great meeting all of you [during the Town Hall / PTBYONPL]. I couldn't help but notice the amazing baking prowess going on.

So I was wondering if you all would be interested in coming to my cookie swap?   Basically, you make a dozen cookies (or some brownies or cupcakes) for however many people are coming. So if 10 people are coming, you make 10 dozen of one type of cookie.  That way everyone walks out with many different kinds of baked goods!

If more than 10 people come, we'll split it to a half-dozen per person.

People who are vegan should indicate themselves and they can swap appropriately, but we can all still enjoy each others' company.

When:  Sunday, February 19 at 5:30
Where: I live by the Italian Market and the 47 bus stops on the corner (8th and Carpenter) and there are two free parking lots with a block.
What:  Exchanging of baked goodness

Anyway, if you're interested, please let me know.  A week beforehand, I'll send out a note about how many people are coming.

I'm at dfallik on Facebook or dfallik[at]gmail[dot]com.

Thanks!
Dawn

Note: RSVPs will close on Thursday, February 16 to provide Dawn an accurate headcount and everyone else enough time to bake their goodies.

When
Sunday, February 19 starting at 5:30pm.

This is an informal social event. There will be no dinner or presentation.

Location
Dawn's Home near Italian Market
near 8th & Carpenter
exact address and additional details will be sent to those who RSVP a few days before the event
IMPORTANT NOTE: Dawn has cats. She will have them hidden away and will vaccum/clean for those who have allergies, but you should take your allergy medicine/prepare accordingly if you are allergic to cats.

What Should I Bring?
One (1) dozen cookies (or brownies or cupcakes) for however many people are coming. If 10 people are coming, you make 10 dozen of one type of cookie.  That way everyone walks out with many different kinds of baked goods.

If more than 10 people come, we'll split it to a half-dozen per person.
Please be sure to label if you have vegan cookies!
