This year we have served out 2000th student. We know our programs work as evidenced by Imelda, a 7th grade student in our musical theater program in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. Listen to Imelda and her peers tell their story.
For 85% of our students, our programs are the only arts education that they receive. In order to prepare our students to become leaders like you, our programs focus on creative problem solving, collaboration and critical thinking skills.

When & Where
Arts to Grow
Arts to Grow is a nonprofit arts education program partnering with New York City metro area public schools and community-based organizations, bringing performing, visual and literary arts classes to inner-city students and students with special needs between the ages of 5 and 18. Our programs offer young people an in-depth, hands-on opportunity to work in small groups with a professional teaching artist. Children create original artwork during classes that meet 1-2 hours per session for eight weeks to a year, during and after school, on weekends and through the summer. Arts to Grow’s programs are offered free to kids and take place right in their own neighborhoods. For additional information visit www.artstogrow.org
