Getting Started with Moodle

2-week online workshop

Monday 9/15 to Friday 9/26

This two week course will introduce you to the various resources and activities available in Moodle. You will have the opportunity to experience Moodle as a student and participate in discussion forums with other teachers while learning how to add resources, assignments, creative activities and how to keep track of grades in your own sandbox class. You should plan on spending approximately 1 to 3 hours each week day participating in class activities and assignments.

This class is entirely online. Once you register for the course, you will be contacted VIA YOUR COLUMBIA COLLEGE CHICAGO EMAIL ADDRESS (@colum.edu) with more information about accessing the course materials. Regardless which email address you use to register for this workshop, all related information will be sent to your @colum.edu address.

NOTE: Part-time faculty who "pass" with a 70% or higher final grade for online course assignments will receive a stipend in the amount of $75.00. Failure to complete or "pass" the online course will result in the forfeiture of a stipend. Full-time faculty and full-time staff who also teach part-time in Columbia do not qualify for a stipend.
