Get Kids Movin'

Eleven-year-old Chi Chi Monet, a recording artist, cheerleader, gymnast and dancer grew frustrated with the alarming rates of childhood obesity among her peers. Armed with information from the Obama Administration’s “Let’s Move” initiative, she decided to create a song called “Move” to inspire youth to be healthy. During the fall of 2012, Chi Chi joined forces with Sports Zone Elite and Think Brown INK to create a tour that would use creative and unique ways to reinforce a lifestyle of health. Building from her love for fashion, dance, music, performing arts and sports, she knew that an exciting program could help Mrs. Obama and other health advocates achieve a mission of fostering a generation of health-conscience children and young adults. Sports Zone Elite is the presenting sponsor of Get Kids Movin!
