Putting off writing that screenplay? Or that home remodeling project? Join the NUEA West and Kellogg Club of LA for a highly interactive, fun, and inspiring workshop with NU alum Sam Bennett, author of the best-selling book Get It Done: From Procrastination to Creative Genius in 15 Minutes a Day. This workshop is great for anyone who has amazing ideas or would-be projects and wants a kick in the pants to start making progress on them!

You've got 37 ideas - how can you determine the BEST project for you to be working on right now? And how do you get past those negative voices in your head -- both the self-doubt and the genuine concerns? Sam's got some quick, sure-fire strategies to help you get clear and get motivated. This is a personalized, hands-on workshop, so bring a pen! And a friend -- you know it's always more fun with two.

PLEASE NOTE: Studio is on second floor, no elevator access

PRAISE FOR GET IT DONE:

"Sam Bennett hears you, knows you, is you. She has been in your shoes, felt your fear and been as stuck as you have. In an astonishing act of generosity, she’s shared all of that in this magnificent book. Sure, the publisher gave it a tactic-filled subtitle that it doesn’t deserve, and sure, it’s on a shelf filled with completely unhelpful blather, but please, give this one a chance. It might just change your life." - Seth Godin

ABOUT SAM:

Samantha Bennett is the creator of www.TheOrganizedArtistCompany.com, dedicated to helping creative people get unstuck from whatever way they’re stuck, especially by helping them focus and move forward on their goals.

Originally from Chicago, Bennett is a writer, actor, teacher and creativity/productivity specialist who has counseled thousands of artists and entrepreneurs on their way to success. She is the author of the surprisingly popular book of poems, “By The Way, You Look Really Great Today,” and the daily inspirational book, “365 Reasons To Write.” Her latest book is the #1 bestseller, "Get It Done: From Procrastination to Creative Genius in 15 Minutes a Day," (New World Library).

Bennett thinks of herself as the world’s unlikeliest award-winning small business marketing expert and one of the nation’s top Infusionsoft Certified Consultants. She is the Personal Branding Expert Faculty member for both Millionaire Income Accelerator Coach David Neagle’s exclusive D7 program and for Tyler Garns’ Box Out Marketing Mastermind. She loves helping creative entrepreneurs find artful ways get the word out and make more money.

Now based in a tiny beach town outside of Los Angeles, CA, Bennett offers her revolutionary “Start Right Where You Are,” “Get It Done” and “Creative Genius, CEO” Workshops, teleclasses as well as public speaking engagements and private consulting to overwhelmed procrastinators, frustrated overachievers and recovering perfectionists everywhere.

NUEA West & Kellogg Club of LA

The NUEA West (Northwestern University Entertainment Alliance West) is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run alumni organization dedicated to NU graduates working in or looking to break into the entertainment industry in the Los Angeles area. Our goal is to help create a cohesive, supportive community of Northwestern alumni working in all sides of the entertainment industry.

The Kellogg Alumni Club of Los Angeles (KACLA) serves Kellogg alums from Orange County to the Valley. Our mission is to continue to enhance the Kellogg experience in our local community. We focus on thought leadership (personal and professional), elevating Kellogg in the community, and engaging alums. In addition to annual events (December happy hour & July summer event), KACLA hosts quarterly “neighborhood dinners,” which provide an opportunity for you to get dinner with 10-15 local alums in your area.
