WEConnect International and their corporate members Accenture, IBM and the Royal Bank of Scotland would like to invite you to join us for an afternoon event on Thursday 14th November 2013 in Amsterdam.
This event is an introductory session for female business owners to the topics of supplier diversity, strategic sourcing, working with WEConnect International's corporate members and to WEConnect International, a global non-profit that connects up majority owned women's businesses into the corporate supply chain.
You will have the opportunity to hear from Accenture, IBM and RBS about their approach to strategic procurement and supplier diversity and their drives to increase the number of SMEs and minority owned businesses that they purchase products and services from. You will also hear from women business owners already successfully working with WEConnect’s corporate members and learn how they have built up their relationship as a trusted supplier. The event will close with an open 'question & answer' session when you will have the chance to pose questions directly to the representatives from our corporate members which will followed by networking over drinks and canapés - a great time to meet other female business owners and procurement professionals.
This will be a small event with just 50 places available for women business owners based in (or near) the Netherlands who own 51% or more of their business and who have products or services that might be bought be corporate organisations.
Places are free and are offered on a first come, first served basis so you must register online for a place and we are asking all attendees to register their businesses with WEConnect International by the date of the event. There is no cost for self-registration with WEConnect International and it will give your firm visibility to our corporate members around the world via our online eNetwork – you can register online here: http://weconnectinternational.org/en/get-self-registered
