The Society of Women Engineers at Georgia Tech is pleased to be hosting an engineering outreach program,targeted for females grades 9-12 who are interested in math or science.
The program will be offered:
Saturday, November 16 from 9am-2pm
on Georgia Tech Campus.
Space is limited to 135 girls on a first-come, first-serve basis, so register early! Only girls attending the event need to buy a ticket, parents do not need a ticket.
Additional details will be provided the week of the event.
Through the program, high school girls will be:
- Introduced to various engineering majors and career options
- Encouraged to pursue an interest in math, science and engineering through hands-on experiences
- Provided with the opportunity to meet one-on-one with current female engineering students
Tentative activities will include:
- Hands-on projects and activities
- Georgia Tech Student question & answer panel

The Georgia Tech Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is an organization which gives women engineering students an unique place and voice within the engineering industry. We are centered around a passion for our members' success and continues to evolve with the challenges and opportunities reflected in today's exciting engineering and technology specialities.
In order to reach the community, SWE outreach programs give elementary, middle, and high school students an opportunitity to explore the world of science, technology, engineering, and math. Activities for the program include presentations, hands on activites, and Q&A sessions with current female engineering students.
