Georgia Speaks Inc. Youth Health and Wellness Workshop
Please join us on Saturday February 1st, 2014 at Philips Arena for a FREE Youth Health and Wellness workshop that you and your family won't want to miss. The workshop begins at 5:30pm and will feature guest speakers to cover topics such as:
*Childhood Obesity and ways to get active at home
*Diabetes and Chronic Diseases associated with the condition
*Risks associated with Smoking and how to eat to keep your heart healthy.
This is an interactive workshop so wear comfortable clothes and shoes and get ready for a workshop filled with games, exercise, education and FUN!

Georgia Speaks, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Corporation headquartered in Riverdale, Georgia. The mission of Georgia Speaks, Inc. (A.K.A. Georgia S.P.E.A.K.S.) is to improve the social, emotional and physical well being of youth so that they may grow to live healthy and productive lives. Georgia Speaks, Inc. focuses on physical health, behavioral health and pro-social development for children and adolescents ranging from 7-21 years of age. We have built partnerships with community organizations with similar goals. Additionally, we strive to educate the youth in our community, so that they may fair better in social environments by facilitating free workshops on important topics such as Nutrition and Health, Bullying, Substance Abuse Education, Anger Management and many other forms of Educational and Vocational support.
