Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (EDT)
Please join us for an informal "Open House/Networking" event to meet the entrepreneurial companies in the inaugural Georgetown Summer Startup Program. The Open House will run from 5:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, June 20, in the Connelly Commons on the 3rd floor of the Rafik B. Hariri building. Refreshments will be served.
The eleven-week summer startup program is a University-sponsored incubator that houses 15 student-run businesses in the Hariri building. The program is designed to support the successful development of entrepreneurial companies through an array of business support resources and services.
The Open House event will include:
· Recent MBA alumnus Jason McCarthy (MBA '11) sharing lessons learned from starting his company, GORUCK
· Student entrepreneurs briefly pitching their business idea
· Displays featuring information about all of the incubator startups, with the entrepreneurs available to answer questions
· Networking with faculty and business leaders from the Washington DC startup community
