The 'Geology & Wine seminar' is an outtake of our full Master Of Terroir course. Focusing only on the geological part of the class. Offered independently as a public seminar and taught by our Silver-Pin Certified Sommelier, Osvaldo Pascolini, who is NASA's Dallas delegate and a professional geologist working in the 'Energy Industry'.
The seminar will focus on all aspects of basic GEOLOGY and how those aspects, characteristics and peculiarities affect the vineyard and consequently wine around the world.
This one-day seminar will deeply analyze the various rock and soil types common in the famous wine regions around the globe as well as the phenomena of Vulcanology and its influences on wine. Multiple wines from multiple soil types around the world will be tasted and analyzed for soil recognition.
