GenR Bay Area 2nd Annual Event: Food Stories, From Burma to the Bay

The evening reception features special guest chefs partnering with local refugee farmers from the International Rescue Committee’s (IRC) New Roots Farm Program to create tasting stations of food inspired by the refugees’ home countries. Event activities will focus on the unique food offerings, and include a short video and speaking program to learn more about the work of the IRC.
Tickets include entry, gift bag and all food, beer and wine. $35 of each ticket purchased is not tax deductible
Proceeds from this event will support the work of the IRC in Northern California and help provide urgent assistance to refugees who have been granted sanctuary in the United States to begin their lives anew in the Bay Area.APPEARANCE AND SPECIAL FOOD OFFERINGS BY:
