Open to ages 8-12.

What makes you… well, YOU?

Are your likes and dislikes inherited or acquired?  In this two-hour class we will learn about the role our genes play. Students will have plenty of take home information and simple tests they can demonstrate on to see who in the family may share inherited similarities.

Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention

The Cade Museum for Creativity + Invention - located in Gainesville, Florida - is named for Dr. James Robert Cade, the physician, musician, researcher and inventor best known for leading the University of Florida team that created Gatorade.  The Museum's mission is to inspire creative thinking, future inventors, and early entrepreneurs.  The Museum is currently raising funds to open a 21,000 square foot building in downtown Gainesville by late 2015.
