Event Details

In anticipation of our tour of Colonial Mexico scheduled for this coming June, the UC Alumni Chorus is proud to present music from the California Missions. We will showcase this music in our own local Mission Dolores Basilica.  We will use the mass service as a framework for our presentation featuring gems of the Mexican Baroque, music by Antonio de Salazar and Juan de Padilla.  The concert will be adorned by instrumental folk music from the 18th and 19th century mission scene.
