Event Details

Gateway is a homeless shelter designed to serve as the gateway to the continuum of care that helps individuals move out of homelessness. While at Gateway we may be assigned to do arts and crafts with kids, help with tutoring, or assist with light cleaning of the facilities.

This service project is part of the Office of Civic Engagement's Interfaith & COmmunity Service Campus Challenge Initiative. While volunteering we will discuss our cultural/religious backgrounds and how our beliefs influence our service.

We will volunteer at Gateway on February, 27, 2013 from 9-12am. Please meet in the Office of Civic Engagement at 8:30am and we will walk to Gateway together.
