Gatekeeper Speaker Series: Charles King

The UCLA Anderson Center for MEMES and the Entertainment Management Association (EMA) are proud to present the kickoff event of the Gatekeeper Speaker Series with Charles King, partner at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment.
Charles King is a Partner/Agent in the Motion Picture Department at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment (WME). He joined the storied William Morris Agency mailroom in 1997 and was promoted two years later to Agent, becoming the first African American to rise from the training program in the Film/Television department in the company’s 101-year history. King represents media mogul Tyler Perry and was an instrumental member of the team that helped to transform the multi-faceted actor, director, playwright and producer from the stage to the global brand he is today. King also represents a select group actors, actor/musicians media figures and directors including M. Night Shyamalan, Barry Sonnenfeld, Craig Brewer, Paula Patton, and Kelsey Grammer. King is a Vanderbilt University graduate with a BA in Political Science and a J.D. from Howard University School of Law. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Stacey, a fashion designer/executive and their two sons, Noah and Julian.
Mr. King will speak at 6:30pm in Gold Hall, Room B313. Dress code is business casual.
