The GAME CHANGERS PROJECT is a national media fellowship program for emerging black filmmakers in partnership with community-based organizations dedicated to improving social outcomes for males of color. The project produces a compelling web series of micro-documentary films about unheralded community “game changers”—social justice advocates, ex-offenders, community innovators, scholars, scientists, politicians, thought leaders, professional athletes, and others working to improve outcomes for African American men and boys and other under-represented groups. The project is generously supported by the Heinz Endowments and the Open Society Foundation.
