Galloping Pig Polo Viewing Party
Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM (EDT)
Join us for a fine day of polo, the sport of kings!
BowTie Foundation will host its first polo event at Wilshire Farm, home of the Cincinnati Polo Club. Guests will enjoy a match between the Cincinnati and Columbus clubs with divot-stomping, time to pet the horses, meet the players, hit some balls, and learn about polo - plus virtual polo, food, drinks, and live music from the Kentucky Struts. Suggested attire is bow ties and sundresses!
The BowTie Foundation is a local community fund that takes great pride in supporting underprivileged youth. Proceeds from the event will give motivated urban middle school students a new way to learn, create and experience art, through a program of Breakthrough Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Art Museum.
Tickets are offered at three levels. For details, click "more info" under each ticket type, above.
VIP tickets include round-trip coach transportation from downtown Cincinnati (Horseshoe Casino) to the polo ground, private tent with prime views, all-you-can-eat Eli's BBQ buffet, and hosted bar in the company of other VIP ticket holders and special guests, including Dhani Jones, former Cincinnati Bengal and star of the Travel Channel's Dhani Tackles the Globe.
Drive-In patrons can bring friends and park close to the field, and General Admission patrons can park on site and watch the match standing or in chairs you bring. Food, adult beverages, and soft drinks will be available for purchase at the event (cash only). Outside alcohol, grilling, cooking, and glass are prohibited. Families are welcome!
VIP and General Admission ticket holders must show their printed ticket and photo ID at the entrance. For Drive-In, all members of your party must arrive at the same time in the same vehicle. The ticket holder must show the printed ticket and photo ID at the entrance.
Members of the military, police, firefighters and rescue get free general admission with ID. In addition, kids 12 and under, accompanied by a paid adult, receive free general admission.
Assuming a given ticket type is not sold out, tickets will be sold at the gate. Gate sales are cash only.
Sorry, no pets allowed. Dogs, even on leashes, can distract and upset the horses.
TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
